This course is a "bi-monthly"
CPR-Professional Rescuer/TFR class.
All public safety professionals
need professinal level CPR and AED.
This course combines a refresher or new certification from ASHI, American Health and Safety Institute with a "new" course taking the place of the "regular" 1st Aid you usually get.
This new course is "TFR" (Trauma First Responder), this course is taught by a Nationally registered Paramedic and Instructor with the National Association of EMT's.
It is a smaller 8 hour version of
the 24 hour PHTLS or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support course.
This is a class geared to 1st responders dealing with various "Trauma"
situations (gun shots, stabbings, car crashes ) etc.
It would be appropriate for Law Enforcement Officers, Jailor/Corrections Officers, Fire Fighters and EMS workers.
